Dogs require ALOT of time and effort. They need a good long walk everyday, feeding everyday, not to mention the financial side: Vets bills, insurance costs, boarding costs when you're on holiday, the initial cost of a dog.. The list carries on!
People having dogs on a whim, and then actually thinking about the commitment ONCE they have the dog homes, is happening far too often. Hence the reason rescues are so full! Before committing your self to owning a dog, think about the following points:

- Would I be able to walk it everyday?
- Will the dog be locked in my house all day whilst I'm at work?
- Can I afford vet bills?
- Can I commit myself to a dog?
